Suicide Prevention

Suicide continues to be a major cause of death in the U.S.   Every day 123 Americans commit suicide.  For every 4 suicidal attempts, there is 1 completed suicide in the elderly population.  Recognizing the signs of suicide is important. If there are significant changes in the behavior of individuals, verbalizations of suicidal ideations, evidence of past suicidal attempts, or a past history of risk taking behavior, it is important that you seek help for yourself or your loved one.
